Putting a rover on Mars in real life is definitely not an easy feat. Howver in Blender it's really not that hard. Follow along with this tutorial, stick around and I'll show you how it's done in Blender.

In this tutorial we'll be going over topics such as creating a landscape, or mars terrain if you will, scattering rocks on our landscape using a weightpaint map, adding materials, setting up dynamic paint rover tire tracks, creating dust particle simulations for the tracks and compositing the entire thing together with a Mist Pass.
